James McAdoo named to U.S. team

Norfolk Christian's James McAdoo was among 12 players named to the 2010 USA U17 World Championship basketball team on Monday. The selections came after five training sessions in San Antonio over the weekend. McAdoo, who has committed to North Carolina and is considering enrolling in college early, averaged 16.8 points and 8.6 rebounds to help lead an American team to the FIBA Americas Championship gold medal last year.
