Adonis Thomas, James McAdoo reach Under 17 title game

Melrose High standout Adonis Thomas scored 12 points Saturday to help the United States to a 103-80 victory over Canada in the semifinals of the FIBA Under 17 world basketball championships in Hamburg, Germany. The victory puts the Americans into today's championship game against Poland. The U.S. and Poland are the only two undefeated teams left in the tournament. Poland ousted Lithuania, 72-65, in Saturday's other semifinal.
