Evan Nolte scouted by North Carolina Tar Heels

North Carolina is one of the many schools taking time this month to observe Milton High 6-foot-8 swingman Evan Nolte, one of the top junior basketball players in Georgia. Nolte led his AAU team, the Southern Kings, to the championship of a Myrtle Beach, S.C., tournament. He scored 27 points in the first half of the semifinals, finishing with 34. In the championship game, Nolte scored 24 to help the Kings win the Under-16 tournament. (Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
