Banged-up Heels get a tie with Stanford in double OT

Despite playing with a patched-up roster, the Tar Heels came from behind twice and found a way to hold off the Stanford Cardinal through double overtime en route to a 2-2 tie at Fetzer Field. The No. 1 Tar Heels and No. 2 Cardinal stayed on script, playing the fast-paced, back-and-forth, clean games that led each to a College Cup berth last April. UNC won that meeting 1-0 to secure its second straight NCAA championship. (Raleigh News & Observer)
