Even in losing, Tar Heels make bigger impression

The potentially epic comeback fell just short — the Tar Heels couldn’t convert on two shots at the end zone in the final six seconds — and LSU left with a 30-24 victory. Considering that Carolina trailed 30-10 at halftime and was sans eight starters on the day, though, most people left the Georgia Dome more impressed with the team that lost than the team that actually won.
