UNC still digs for academic answers from its football program

UNC chancellor Holden Thorp said Thursday that football coach Butch Davis has cooperated with an ongoing investigation into misconduct within the university's football program. But he didn't say Davis would be coaching the team in one year. "A lot can happen in the next few weeks, months," Thorp said. "I'm pleased with the way he's handled this." (Wilmington Star News)
