No doubting Thomas

Quentin Thomas, called "Q" by teammates and fans in the Smith Center, has not always earned the minutes but holds the attention of his peers because of one piece of jewelry – his 2005 National Championship ring. Thomas played in all 37 games that season. This season's Tar Heels squad has those championship ambitions, but only one player – Thomas – has the ring. "He knows what it takes to get there," Mike Copeland said.
