Da’Norris Searcy stopped short of calling his experience during Saturday’s 42-17 victory against East Carolina perfect. Playing his first game since being cleared in the NCAA’s investigation into the Tar Heels’ program, the senior defensive back couldn’t have authored a better script. His 46-yard interception return for a touchdown was a crucial piece of a defensive effort that quieted the Pirates’ high-octane offense.
