History with ACC secures future for Raycom

The survival of Raycom Sports hinged on its 31-year relationship with the ACC. As long as two years before it started negotiating with the conference in earnest, company executives acknowledged that keeping a piece of the ACC’s business was the only way the small, regional TV syndicator and production company could stay relevant in the burgeoning multibillion-dollar college marketplace.
