Mike London kept his football team on the field for an abnormally long time Saturday night, well after Virginia had absorbed a complete pummeling by visiting UNC. The Cavaliers’ long home winning streak over the Tar Heels, dating back to 1981, had come to a humbling and somewhat humiliating end. Burning bright into the dark, Virginia night was a scoreboard that blared the embarrassing result: UNC 44, Virginia 10.
