Tar Heels avoid upset

North Carolina knew William & Mary was good, and the Tar Heels knew the non-conference game was a trap. Still, the Tar Heels came out flat, and the fourth quarter started with the Tribe, one of the best Football Championship Subdivision teams, leading by 10 points. Then, as UNC senior put it, the Tar Heels "woke up" and escaped Kenan Stadium with a 21-17 win. (Raleigh News & Observer)
