Injury issues loom over UNC as it prepares for ACC front-runner Duke

Basketball games between North Carolina and Duke have been decided by sharp-witted coaches, inspired players and clutch shots. Tonight’s could be settled by a left ankle and a left big toe. The ankle belongs to North Carolina’s Ty Lawson, a sophomore point guard, and it is sprained. The toe is Marcus Ginyard’s and it is still hurting from an injury suffered seven days ago.
