Tar Heels hurting in depleted secondary

UNC cornerback Kendric Burney said he was pretty close to being back up to game speed after experiencing his first live action of the season in Saturday’s victory against William & Mary. The senior had just been cleared to play after serving an NCAA-mandated suspension and spending another week in limbo thanks to the ongoing investigation into the program. And his return couldn’t have come a moment too soon for the Tar Heels.
