Heels hold off Blue Devils in regular-season finale


When UNC announced that 13 players would sit out the season-opener against LSU in September because of the investigations into agents and academics, most everyone assumed the Tar Heels’ once-promising season was over. The Tar Heels insisted there still was plenty to play for. Saturday in the regular season finale against Duke, UNC showed just how much it has overcome this year. (Durham Herald-Sun)
