Dec. 31, 2001 – UNC 16, Auburn 10 (Peach Bowl) – At the time, it appeared that John Bunting might build something special at his alma mater in Chapel Hill. Carolina’s win over Auburn and quarterback Jason Campbell was impressive. UNC was physical, had some big plays, notably by MVP Ronald Curry, and notched an important win the program failed to capitalize on.
