Former Tar Heel Mark Wilson Wins Sony Open

Former Tar Heel golfer Mark Wilson (1994-97) survived Sunday's marathon 36-hole final without a bogey to claim a two-stroke victory over Steve Marino and Tim Clark to win the Sony Open in Honolulu, Hawaii. Wilson fired a 16-under-par 264 total with rounds of 65-67-65-67 while Marino and Clark both finished at 14-under 266.
