Strength & Conditioning Coach Jeff Connors Leaving UNC

Strength and Conditioning Coordinator Jeff Connors will depart UNC to take the same position at East Carolina, according to sources. Connors, 54, has been UNC's S&C coach since 2001, working with such standouts as Kentwan Balmer, Jason Brown, Ronald Curry, Julius Peppers, Hakeem Nicks and David Thornton. In his Tar Heel tenure, 73 of 77 all-time football strength and conditioning records have changed.
