On a day when N.C. State needed a jolt to slow its recent tailspin and North Carolina was aiming for a boost to its ever-increasing confidence, things went definitively in favor of the Tar Heels. “It’s a great feeling right now,” Tar Heels coach Roy Williams said. The Tar Heels (15-5 overall, 5-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) looked like a team moving closer to realizing its potential.
