No. 1 Carolina (16-0, 1-0) will play its first ACC game at home against NC State (11-3, 0-0). Carolina is 16-0 and one win away from tying the 1998 start of 17-0. Carolina is coming off of a 93-81 win over UNC-Asheville to bring its non-conference season to a close at 15-0, marking just the fifth time in 50 years since Carolina has gone undefeated in non-conference play.
