Freshman quarterback Marquise Williams of Charlotte scored on a 42-yard run on his first series but was intercepted by a former Mallard Creek teammate, cornerback Josh Hunter, on his second series. “He’s young,” Hunter said, laughing. “I took advantage of him. I’m not going to lie to you. He rolled out of the pocket late. Knowing him before, I feel like I knew what he was going to do.”
