For the record, the last time UNC and Wisconsin met, it was in the 2005 Elite Eight in Syracuse with UNC prevailing 88-82 on the way to Williams’ first national championship. And even before that contest, members of the 2000 Wisconsin team were still expressing irritation at Williams’ 2000 quote, which was perceived as insulting.
