Former UNC football player Jeff Longhany wins IHRA race


Wade's was among the winners at Saturday's IHRA Division 9 race at Farmington Dragway. Longhany is a Cape Fear High School graduate and a four-year letterman on North Carolina's football team from 2002-05. He won the Super Stock trophy at Farmington, beating Michael Crumpler of Elm City by 17/100ths of a second, or about 2 feet. (Fayetteville Observer)
