Posted Jun 13, 2011
Freshman Colin Moran pulled in another honor on Monday when he was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Freshman All-America team. Moran has paced the Tar Heels in his initial campaign with a .335 average and a team-high 69 RBI. Moran needs just one more to join Dustin Ackley as the only freshmen in school history to reach 70 RBI in a freshman season.
