Lenox Rawlings: Tar Heels to play aboard ship with intriguing history

UNC's basketball team has played lots of big rooms before, but never an ocean. That will change when the Tar Heels open the season against Michigan State on the deck of the USS Carl Vinson, which will float in salt water at San Diego. The site will highlight Veterans Day (11-11-11), but not all the Tar Heels seem entirely comfortable with the aircraft carrier's historic highlight.
