Stock rising for 2013 combo guard Isaiah Lewis

Isaiah Lewis’ game and role are in transition. A year ago, the rising junior was an explosive force off the bench for a senior-laden Christ the King team, known mostly for his scoring punch. With guards Corey Edwards and T.J. Curry off to college, Lewis will step into a starting job and will be asked to adapt his game a bit to take over as the team’s point guard. Lewis said he already has offers from Kansas, UConn, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Arkansas, Rutgers, St. John’s, Seton Hall, Temple, West Virginia and Arizona. Miami (and UNC) also has interest and Kentucky recently called. (New York Post)
