U17 World Cup player Joseph Amon commits to UNC

Joseph Amon is probably best known for his prominent role on the U.S. U17 Men's National Team. And while Amon is certainly an eye-catching defensive presence on the field, it's his commitment to academics off the field that informed his recent college decision. Amon verbally committed to North Carolina for the 2012 season as much for what Chapel Hill has to offer as what the Tar Heels do.
