LB Shakeel Rashad, OL Jon Heck to stick with UNC football commitment
Posted Jul 30, 2011
The firing of former North Carolina head football coach Butch Davis didn't make a recruiting ripple on the First Coast. Episcopal outside linebacker Shakeel Rashad and Bolles offensive tackle Jon Heck both restated their decision to attend North Carolina following the surprising timing of Davis' dismissal. "I still consider myself a solid commitment to North Carolina," Rashad said.
