2014 SG Isaiah Whitehead visits Rutgers, anticipates UNC offer

On Tuesday Rutgers coach Mike Rice welcomed one of the most talked about members of the rising sophomore (Class of 2014) high school class to campus as NYC guard Isaiah Whitehead took an unofficial visit. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound shooting guard enjoyed his trip and liked what he saw. Kentucky is the most recent school to enter the mix and Whitehead feels North Carolina is very close to offering, joining several Big East schools that already have, like St. John’s, Rutgers, Pittsburgh and Syracuse.
