Advice to Holden Thorp: ‘Just say no’...comment


A week after firing football coach to help “restore the integrity of our football program and the reputation of this university,” North Carolina chancellor Holden Thorp added to UNC’s problems by committing a secondary NCAA violation. The minor transgression occurred when Thorp’s comments about a controversial scholarship offer to Davis’ son were published by the Raleigh News & Observer on Thursday. (Wilmington Star News)
