On this cold and icy night in New Jersey, both North Carolina and Rutgers struggled to warm up their shooting touch in the RAC – with the lone exception being Ty Lawson. The speedy point guard burnt up the hardwood with 26 points in leading the No. 1 Tar Heels to a 93-71 victory over the Scarlet Knights.
