Heels nearing end of road

A long stretch of road games for North Carolina will end today, for a weary group of players and a very pleased coach. North Carolina will take its unbeaten record and No. 1 ranking in both national polls to Piscataway, N.J., for a game against Rutgers at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. It will be the Tar Heels’ sixth consecutive game away from the Smith Center, where they last played on Nov. 20.
