SG Marcus Smart visits Texas

Guard Marcus Smart and small forward Jerami Grant made unofficial visits to the University of Texas this weekend. The 6-foot-4 Smart, from Flower Mound Marcus, is regarded as one of the top 15 prospects in the class of 2012. According to Gerry Hamilton of Hookem.com., the Statesman’s Internet partner, Smart is considering Texas, Kansas, Texas A&M and North Carolina.
