Running back Bernard streaking for Tar Heels
Posted Oct 8, 2011
The Giovani Bernard train keeps on humming at North Carolina. The redshirt freshman tailback passed the 100-yard rushing mark again Saturday in a 14-7 victory over Louisville, making it the fourth consecutive game he's done so. The stretch is the most by a UNC back since Ethan Horton did so in 1984. Bernard has run for 102, 155, 146 and 109 yards, respectively, in the last four contests.
