Top-ranked Tar Heels win easily
Posted Nov 21, 2007
Top-ranked UNC scored early and often Tuesday night, so much so that the Tar Heels began providing exact replicas of their most exciting highlights. Whether it was Ty Lawson feeding Tyler Hansbrough for alley-oop dunks (three times), Alex Stepheson cleaning up missed shots with jams down low (twice) or Quentin Thomas finding Bobby Frasor for open 3-pointers in transition (twice), UNC proved unstoppable in the opening 20 minutes of its 110-64 blowout of South Carolina State at the Smith Center.
