Jon Heck happy with Fedora hiring

Jacksonville (Fla.) Bolles three-star offensive lineman Jon Heck finished out a tremendous comeback season with a Class 4A state championship Friday night. Heck committed to North Carolina over the summer before Butch Davis was fired. He said he would remain committed as the Tar Heels dealt with the coaching situation. Last week the school hired Larry Fedora and Heck said he was extremely happy with that choice.
