Marshall’s plan: Better to give than receive
Posted Dec 17, 2011
Kendall Marshall is shooting just 35.4 percent, lowest among the nine regulars on No. 5 UNC (8-2), but his passing has him on pace for a record-setting season heading into tonight’s game against Appalachian State (4-5) at the Smith Center (6 p.m., ESPNU). Marshall is second in the nation with 10.2 assists per game (the UNC record is 8.1 set by Ed Cota in 1999-2000).
