P.J. Hairston out for Virginia game

Fifth-ranked North Carolina’s perimeter just keeps getting thinner. Freshman reserve P.J. Hairston will miss Saturday’s game against No. 20 Virginia because of a sore left foot, the school announced Friday. It further slams the depth of the fifth-ranked Tar Heels, who were already without guards Leslie McDonald and Dexter Strickland.
