Wright’s averages of 5.8 points and 2.6 rebounds may not sound impressive, but they have come in just 12.4 minutes a game as he backs up the All-Star power forward Dirk Nowitzki. If he averaged 36 minutes a game, the time of a full-time player, his statistics would jump to 16.7 points and 7.5 rebounds.
