Maybe P.J. Hairston’s hibernating long-range stroke finally is awakening just in time. The UNC freshman guard, plagued by shooting struggles, showed signs of a possible breakout with 13 points during Sunday’s 85-82 loss to Florida State in the ACC Tournament final. “P.J. gave us a big lift,” Tyler Zeller said. He buried three 3-pointers off quick catches and releases during a rapid span covering less than three minutes.
