I can't recall being any prouder of a Carolina basketball team than I am of this one. Coach Smith always used to say, "You have to be good AND lucky to win a national championship." This was a very good team, but a very unlucky one with all the injuries -- from Leslie, to Dexter, to John and Kendall. And I thought we could still win Sunday after the first half the guys on the court played.
