UNC Basketball Recruiting Week in Review


A look back at news and notes from the past week in UNC basketball recruiting.

-Here's a nice evaluation of incoming UNC point guard .

-Yahoo! Sports put together a nice dunk mix of incoming freshman from a few weeks ago.

-2013 SF will pick between UNC and Kentucky some time between May 1-5 and will announce his decision via Twitter. Here's some footage of Williams and an interview from this weekend's EYBL event in Hampton, Va.

-The UNC coaching staff spent a lot of time this weekend watching 2013 5-star power forward . Here's a great interview with Randle from Inside Carolina and some footage from last week's event in Minneapolis, MN.

-Other recruits watched by UNC over the weekend include 2014 SF , 2014 SF , and 2013 SG . Here's a little more info on Jackson's recruitment.

-, one of the top small forwards in the 2014 recruiting class, is a life-long UNC fan and has taken notice, although an offer has not yet been made. Here's a nice highlight video of Lindsey in action.

-2014 point guard continues to draw interest from UNC. Here's his sophomore season mix tape and some footage from this weekend's EYBL event in Hampton, Va.

-Five-star 2013 small forward has a top five of UNC, Texas, Florida, Memphis and Georgetown (in no order).

-2013 center from Charlotte may announce his decision within a couple of weeks.

-2013 center still has UNC on his radar, listing the Tar Heels in his top-6.

-Yahoo! Sports looks at incoming freshmen who could potentially start for the Tar Heels.

- has decided in recent years that recruiting one-and-done prospects sometimes just isn't worth it.

-In case you're still interested, one-time UNC recruit committed to UCLA.

-South Carolina transfer Anthony Gill briefly considered UNC but has decided to play at Virginia.
