It looks like Daniel Bard won’t be making any starts anytime soon. The former Tar Heel and the Red Sox brass both agree that he belongs in the bullpen. While Dustin Ackley’s plate struggles continue, his key 7th inning double play helped preserve a win for the Mariners on Saturday.
