Ex-Tar Heels Kyle Seager and Dustin Ackley, who played together as kids, are living a childhood dream on the Mariners. Anaheim catcher Chris Iannetta, formerly of UNC, and Angels pitcher Zack Greinke have been developing a feel for each other. Ex-Tar Heel Matt Harvey got off to a slow start in his home debut for the Mets. Despite loss, Harvey passed his final test for New York. (ACC Sports Journal)
