Tar Heel Women's Soccer Ranked Fourth By Soccer America

The University of North Carolina women's soccer team has earned the No. 4 preseason ranking in the 2012 Soccer America poll which was announced Wednesday morning. The Tar Heels are coming off a 13-5-2 season in 2011 in which they advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16. UNC opens its season Friday night at Portland at 10 p.m. EDT.
