UNC-Wake game delayed by severe weather

The start of Saturday’s ACC football game between North Carolina and Wake Forest in Winston-Salem has been delayed by severe weather. A line of severe thunderstoms, complete with lightning, gusty straight-line winds and heavy rain, blew across BB&T Stadium about 20 minutes before the scheduled 3 p.m. kickoff, forcing the stands to be evacuated and the players to retreat to their locker rooms.
