Senior Scott Goodwin became Carolina's career leader in shutouts Friday night as UNC downed Virginia, 1-0. In a physical match that saw 41 combined fouls and five yellow cards issued, Carolina controlled the tempo throughout the match before breaking the deadlock just minutes into the second half.
