UNC-ECU Observations

Officials from both the Orange Bowl and the Chick-fil-A Bowl attended the game and watched from the press box. Their attendance at Kenan Stadium was curious, though, given that UNC is not eligible to compete in a bowl game this season. ECU, due to Conference USA’s bowl affiliations, also isn’t eligible for either game. (Charlotte Observer)
