Tar Heels start fast, finish with records

A dreary day with steady rain might not be ideal conditions for an offense, but that meant little to North Carolina. The Tar Heels set school records for points and margin of victory while dismantling Idaho 66-0 in a non-conference game Saturday at Kenan Stadium. North Carolina wanted to start fast. With four touchdowns, two blocked punts and 239 yards of offense in the first quarter, mission accomplished. (Burlington Times News)
