UNC Postgame Notes vs. Duke
Posted Oct 21, 2012
North Carolina fell to 5-3 overall and 2-2 in the ACC. The Tar Heels had beaten Duke in the previous eight meetings and in 21 of the previous 22 games. It was Carolina’s first loss in Durham since the Blue Devils won, 35-29, in 1988. The 30 points is the most ever scored by the Tar Heels in a loss to Duke. The previous high was 29 in the 1988 defeat, the last time UNC lost on the Blue Devils’ home field.
