A familiar refrain in ACC

This season, much was made of new coaches, new approaches, new eras, new attitudes, new uniforms. There's talk of expanding Kenan Stadium and of gussying up old Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham, a lovely spot to watch a game, particularly if you're rooting for the visitors. Yet for all the newness, one-third of the way through the 2007 regular season, with the toughest opponents still to come, it's clear any fantasies area programs harbor of being competitive in ACC football will have to wait another year.
